It's like we traded, when we got here from Houston you headed home. Were you running from us?? Just kidding glad to hear things are fine. Hubby, I and 4 boys are adjusting to KL. We are in the Sri Hartamas area (in between PJ and Mt. Kiara) so we do not deal with the traffic like if we were down town.

The driving, the slow paced life, the looks from locals, are all becoming a way of life.

We experienced the medical industry earlier than expected. Oldest son, almost 12 years old, decided 20 ++ (like that one, that took getting used to) stitches in his leg would be a great souvenir of KL. But like you said in your blog, the service and attention was remarkable. No wait, bring him right in, didn't ask us our names, "could we pay" nothing. It was good and very settling for a parent.

Boys love it here, so do we; even my mom decided to move with us. We are taking it day by day, some days good, some days bad, but all in all, a life experience. Thank you for your information you have on your blog, sure helped with questions we had. Hope you are well, take care and rest. Oh and go to Katy and visit Ritter's Frozen Custard for us! On Friday's Turtle Something was our favorite. I think you deserve it! Also, have a house for sale in Katy if you are interested (like there are not millions listed)!

Take care!

MariAnneCajun (Expat) Malaysianshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15823703559377835591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2358866733936123634.post-59112466240199760942008-05-20T05:53:00.000+08:002008-05-20T05:53:00.000+08:00First, I read a few of your posts and they are gre...First, I read a few of your posts and they are great. A nice break in an otherwise rough day.

Second, hope the pregnancy is going well. My wife and I are the mid-30s parents of a 4 month old and it's been a wild, wonderful trip.

Finally, we are moving to KL from Fort Worth, TX at the end of June for a minimum two year gig and would love to learn and hear more.

I'm a complete amateur when it comes to protocol when blogging, so reply here if you can with the best way to hear your thoughts on our relo and we'll comply.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
